Celebrate Today ....

Had a great day at team training yesterday with some fantastic swaps from my fellow team mates, not to mention some great ideas from my Stampin' Up mummy (upline) Julie Kettlewell. It was great to catch up with friends, whilst doing our favourite thing .... crafting. I was fortunate enough to borrow some stamps from one of said friends Ginnette, Celebrate Today, was a set I wasn't sure about and it's always the same, when you have a look on Pinterest and get a bit of inspiration, the ideas start to fly out, and it's another one to add to the shopping list. So here are a few samples I have made ....

Sale-a-Bration ....

I am sitting on the sofa watching the snow fall this morning, it is only "snow showers" so no need to panic yet, but it is so pretty in the garden :) Last night Craig was watching a man movie, and although we normally make an effort to watch a movie together on Fridays, most men movies are not that interesting to me AND my new crafting stash was calling me from the other room. So I had a little play with another sale-a-bration freebie. I keep assuming people have been Stampin' Up fans for years so they understand all about Sale-a-Bration. I have a specials tab at the top which goes into more detail, but basically if you place an order for £45 and for every £45 you send, you can choose a free sale-a-bration item from the special brochure (link to the right), so spend £90 choose 2 items and so on. This set is called "You Brighten My Day" and all of the elements except the light bulb, coordinate with existing Stampin Up punches :)

Petal Potpourri ....

For all you floral fans, here's another super stamp set in the new seasonal brochure. Petal Potpourri can be bought on it's own or also as a bundle with it's own coordinating punch. This versatile stamp set gives you the option of stamping four flower styles, or using a layering technique with the solid and slightly grunged flower. I also made a full sheet of background paper using the two small stamps, this method can be done over and over in different colours to create your own unique background papers. Have fun with this great set :)

Open house ....

Today I held an open house so that friends could come along and have a look at the new Spring/Summer Seasonal Brochure and bag some Sale-a-Bration freebies. We had a lovely afternoon and did this little make and take using the Best Day Ever stamp set which can be earned free with a £45 order, don't forget that during Sale-a-Bration for EVERY £45 spent, you can claim a free item from the Sale-a-Bration brochure. It was lovely to catch up after the Christmas period, and of course we had gorgeous cakes made by Elaine :) Here's a photo of the card we made and a couple of other samples ....

"It's the most wonderful time of the year" I love that Christmas song, and you thought all that was behind us LOL. Well the most wonderful time of the year for Stampin Up is the Sale-A-Bration period, and it starts this week the 6th January 2015. I can't tell you how excited I am because this year Sale-a-Bration coincides with the launch of the new Spring/Summer seasonal, what great timing. This means that you have a host of new products to choose from from the Seasoanl Catalogue (or the existing annual) and for every £45 you spend, you can choose a free Sale-a-Bration item from the special Sale-a-Bration Brochure. I happen to have a little sneak here for you, but look out for many more new product samples over the coming weeks.

Happy New Year ....

I hope everyone has had a nice Crafty Christmas :) I have struggled to find time, even though I have had some time off work, my family have all been at home, and that has been very distracting (in a nice way).  We had a quiet Christmas with only 6 of us on Christmas day, including my Mum and Dad. Dad was coming down with this awful cold, so I took him home at tea time and this cut the day kind of short :( Not before our Gingerbread House competition, where in teams of 2 we competed to make the best house, it was cute because we each judged one of the others houses the winner so it was a draw. Here's a photo and also a picture of my two favourite Stampin Up Christmas Cards I received this year, thanks Ginnette and Sam :) Just having a last blast of my Christmas CD whilst taking the decorations down.
