Easter Blossoms

I love this stamp set but its the first time I have used it since I bought it several months ago! I daren't guess how long probably just after I signed up and had to have half the catalogue all in one go, and then it takes you months to get any pleasure out of your purchase's. I will do better honest :) here are a few very simple cards similar to one I saw on google ...

Swallowtail....

Hate it when I don't get round to blogging for over a week, I feel I should be able to manage once a week come on! Anyway today there is snow again, actually about 4" here, I know I know that's nothing to you Americans and Canadians but it means we stay in if we don't have to be anywhere urgently! So I have been needing a little crafting time, and wanted to show case a stamp which I have had for a while and personally I think is gorgeous, here are some cards I have made with the very large Swallowtail stamp from Stampin Up.

The yellow and black card is cased from a lady called Dawn Griffiths :)

Scrapbooking Beginners Class ....sneak

Well finally i got my hands on some 12x12 real red cardstock and was able to finish my first beginners scrapbooking class layout today. I have had the page designed cut and laid on a piece of red card, but it just wasn't the right red, and so i hadn't stuck it down until today. I have finished it off with a few embellishments here and there and here follows a sneak peak....
If you would like to join in with the class, please email me at clovett450@hotmail.com
Thanks.

Secret Garden ...

Even though I have just had a hectic weekend at my Scrapstars retreat, I did manage to attend Stampin Up monthly training last night with my upline Julie Kettlewell. These training sessions are great with a combination of SU news and then some crafting time making a project that is suitable to use at a workshop. Last night we used the Secret Garden set from the Spring/Summer seasonal brochure, the stamp set has 7 items, 5 flower heads a stem and some leaves, and is also available with matching Framelit dies (skinny style) so that you can stamp images and run them through your big shot, here are the samples ......
The little handbag is made from the Petite Purse Bigz die exclusive to Stampin Up!

"CASE" .....

Well today I am just posting some cards I have made by following / copying / caseing the gorgeous Valentine's card that Robyn made for her boyfriend. CASE is a term used by Stamin Up and it means Create and Share Everthing. It's a great philosophy and means that a lot of demo's can find quick inspiration when they have lost their "mojo". People often tweak the original idea, which then kind of makes it a little of their own, but we shouldn't be embarrassed to "case" after all isn't there a saying that goes something like "imitation is the best form of flattery" .....
