Army Scrapping ....

It's not that I haven't been scrapbooking lately, after all it's such a part of my life I go cold turkey if I don't scrap for a week. What I have been doing is focusing completely on a scrapbook for Robyn's boyfriends birthday. Nathaniel spent 5 years in the army and when he came out and saw Robyn's scrapbooks he asked if she thought I would make one for him with his army photo's in it. I have ended up doing a whole scrapbook and "acquiring" some photo's from his childhood from his mum. It has been hard as you can't just do page after page of army photo's and also scrapping for boys is much harder than for girls (or so I find). So you may see a few SU products here, but the majority of the pages are made with other things ....

Grrrrr ....

Such a busy few weeks, but not without some fun and happiness. We have been having a hard time at work, but in between we have had some fun occasions as well. We had family visiting from America and had a big family get together the other weekend. I had my friend and her son visiting from Canada last weekend, took a friend out to lunch who was house bound with a knee operation this week, and today is my Mum's 70th Birthday and my great nieces 4th Birthday, I have made them both card in a box cards, not my greatest efforts, but i have been sooo busy, really really neeeeed some crating time to make something worth adding to the blog LOL, please bear with me :)

High Tide ....

Just when you think you have seen everything, a cheeky little set of designer series papers catches your eye "High Tide". I actually "scraplifted" this layout from my friend Kathy Rogers with a twist to help it suit the papers, Kathy's was in a beach seaside theme, but I wanted to make my Stampin Up style, so here is my version ....

Card In A Box ....

I've seen a lot of these made recently and thought I had better jump on the band wagon, I actually showed them as a make and take at the recent Scrapstars retreat. I haven't had a chance to do anything Stampin Up this week, although one of my card in a box's is with SU flowers and another with the recent Sale-a-Bration papers. My favourite was made by my friend Kathy Rogers for which she won a competition, closely followed by the 1D one made for me by one of my team mates Sam Wilson :) I just can't seem to get Blogger to upload a photo, I will come back to this :)
