Best Year Ever ....

Fabulous Sale-a-Bration papers this year, so easy to work with and you can use them to scrapbook a multitude of occasions. They make a very pretty baby girl page and lovely holiday, seaside, picnic, sunny day layouts. Just sharing one that I made yesterday with some old holiday photo's of my great niece :) I also used the coordinating buttons which can be earned free, and my favourite SU heart stencil/mask :)

Sweet Dreams ....

As you know I am avid scrapbooker so I love it when there is a new release of papers so that I can make some new layouts. This is my first from the new seasonal and I have used the Sweet Dreams designer series papers. They come with cute button accessories and gorgeous chunky Hello Honey Ribbon. I have also used a few other new products such as the Bumblebee stamp and the Something Lacy background stamp stamped on to vellum, there are just a few slithers of this :)

Sheltering Tree ....

Had a lovely day last Saturday with a few ladies all following my sheltering tree class. I love this stamp set and it was the first I ordered from the new seasonal. I knew it would be super easy to work with "I love Trees" :) I used 2 cards from my fellow team members and was inspired by a few ideas on Pinterest to design the rest. I think my favourite is Ali Moore's pink number, and my crisp cantaloupe and crumb cake combo :)

Lotus Blossom ....

When I first saw this stamp set in the Sale-a-Bration brochure, it wasn't an immediate favourite, but now I can hardly believe it can be earned for free! So easy to use in photopolymer (therefore easy to position) and as it is supposed to give a watercolour type effect, it's easy to get a great result every time :)

Masks ....

As a scrapbooker I have been using masks on my layouts for some time, but I have to say, a firm favourite of mine is the Stampin' Up stars mask. Their masks are such a great price too £2.95 for a pack of two masks, one pack having stars and hearts and the other pack having Dots and Lines. You can use them with so many mediums including inks, paints and chalks ....
