Little Break ....

Been awol, but I'm back, firstly I had a lovely week away in the sun and the weekend following my return home, I was straight off again on a crafting weekend with a few friends. It meant I didn't have much time for crafting before I went away, but over the weekend, we all took a project that we had designed to teach to each other. It was a mini retreat, with much crafting, eating a few tipples and a lot of laughter .....

Beautiful Ride ....

Another stamp set that caught my eye straight away in the new seasonal, was this one Beautiful Ride. I love the VW bug and think,  with all the different accessories, it can be very versatile. I hope to make more samples of this cute card, but here is my first effort and also one that I cased from my friend Amanda Bates at The Craft Spa. The accessories suggest you could make just married, holiday/bon voyage, love/valentine and more ....

Happy Home cont .....

I think I mentioned in my last post on this stamp set, that I absolutely love it, and yes it does remind me of the Christmas release Happy Scenes, but it's so cute. I was making an easel card at the weekend for a class I am doing next week, and I just seemed to have this idea of joining all the scenes together, I had an old template lying on the table for this "Tri-Panel" card (as I call it) and off I went ....

Botanicals for You ....

This must be one of the most popular items in this years sale-a-bration brochure. I have seen so many samples made with it and what's great is that it could be yours for free with a £45 order in the sale-a-bration promotion. I have seen a few cards recently where the main sentiment of the set has been done with embossing powder, and it looks great, what do you think?

Going Places Stack ....

This suite from Stampin Up contains a stamp set, papers and a gorgeous embossing folder. I think some people have failed to see this can be used in many cards, but as we are always crying out for ideas for male themed cards, I think it's perfect! As a huge scrapbooker (including project life), and enjoying my travels, I know It will be in my stash for many years :) I hope to share a few more projects showcasing these products.

Love Blossoms ....

I haven't had mush time this past week or so, so it's frustrating not being able to play with more new products from the current seasonal and sale-a-bration, but here are a few layouts I have made with the Love blossoms 6x6 paper stack ....

 Neither layout showcases much of the paper so I will attempt to do more and make some cards in the near future :)   On the first one I have scraped some gesso through my SU hearts mask.
