Card In A Box ....
I've seen a lot of these made recently and thought I had better jump on the band wagon, I actually showed them as a make and take at the recent Scrapstars retreat. I haven't had a chance to do anything Stampin Up this week, although one of my card in a box's is with SU flowers and another with the recent Sale-a-Bration papers. My favourite was made by my friend Kathy Rogers for which she won a competition, closely followed by the 1D one made for me by one of my team mates Sam Wilson :) I just can't seem to get Blogger to upload a photo, I will come back to this :)

Scrapstars Craft Retreat ....
Well following the weekend retreat I literally did as I said I was going to do, spent the whole day yesterday watching junk on T.V. I had a lovely lie in and still went for a snooze in the afternoon !!! I was shattered though and just sat with my feet up all day, I couldn't even be bothered to make anything to eat and ate about 50 digestive biscuits throughout the day instead :) (followed by chicken soup). The weekend went brilliantly with the ladies attending saying it was the best yet, we made some fantastic projects, but as I was naughty and hadn't printed off my homework (photo's) non of mine are actually complete. I will try to finish one or two off in the next few days and post some photo's ...... watch this space, by for now, C. x

Eastern Elegance ....
Happy Easter to everyone, I hope you are enjoying your weekend, especially in the UK where we get a nice break. I have been enjoying having my husband around, and we have worked together to sort out some more boxes that are still lurking in our garage since our house move. I am still a little upset that I cannot find a few things and have no explanation for where they have gone (disturbing really). On the whole, though, everything is getting sorted although I am making a considerable amount of mess at the moment with boxes everywhere for my craft retreat :) I didn't want to miss a weekend blogging, so late yesterday afternoon I started this page with the gorgeous Eastern Elegance papers from Stampin' Up. What fabulous colours. I made the two flowers one with "petals" which are actually the bird's wing from the builder bird punch and then with hearts cut in half for the large flower petals, I just wanted to do something different to the twirled rosette roses, although I ended up falling back on them for my centres :) I also used the Beautiful baroque stamp for the background.

Project Life Stampin Up Style ....
OMG so excited by his announcement by Stampin'Up. Project life is such a popular concept and from 1st July SU are launching their own Project Life in partnership with Becky Higgins. This is a simplified way of scrapbooking/memory keeping and I cannot wait to share it with my customers and non-craft friends! Watch this space!

Gorgeous Grunge ....
Well tomorrow is team training and I'm sure I'll have lots of great projects to post, but along with training all the ladies make swaps for each other. Our day tomorrow is going to focus on Male themed cards and projects. I have to admit I feel I have cheated a little on my swap as I have done it in bright colours so it would really be ok for anybody :) The sentiments are from Label Love and Chalk Talk stamp sets.
